Join the Woody Guthrie Center for an evening with father-daughter duo Dave Long and Myah Batt. Family Folk pays homage to the giants of music who came before them with lyrics that evoke unity, common sense, and coming together despite differences that may divide.

Artist Bio

Our family harmonies (especially Myah) thrill people. Rooted in classic Americana, drawing inspiration from Guthrie, Dylan and and the Wild West, our songs tell stories, bring people together and leave them better off than when they walked in the door. Everyone sees themselves—or what they’d like to see— in a father and daughter, across a generation- coming together to share the love of great music with an audience in an intimate setting. We’ve played so many venues, small and large, most notably the San Clemente Fiesta Music Festival last summer.
